A cheque for the NET School

On Monday 19th June, Eileen and Ian came to school to collect the money we raised for NET School during Lent. They told us about the latest building projects in India and how all the staff and children are getting along. Eileen showed us some lovely gifts the church has been preparing to take with them on their next visit.

Y4 and Major Maggie

On Wednesday 14th December, Major Maggie from the Salvation Army took our whole school worship. She told us the story of The Good Samaritan using volunteers and puppets. It was great fun but the real reason for her visit was to pick up all the food and clothes that Year 4 had collected for the homeless people of Preston.

N.S.P.C.C. Talk

N.S.P.C.C. Talk 1
On the 27th September, Jan and Jan came to talk to us about Childline and the work of the NSPCC. We thought about the people we can talk to if we are feeling unhappy.

The Lost Sheep

On Thursday 8th September, Graham brought his team of puppeteers from St Saviour's Church to tell us the parable of the lost sheep. They have spent this summer working with children and families from Bamber Bridge, using their puppets to get their message across. Fluffy the sheep was operated brilliantly by one of our Year 6 children. Everyone enjoyed the show and Graham helped us to understand how much God loves us all.
