This is the last week that I will be setting work for you to do at home because the summer holidays start soon.
In September, you will all move up to Year 6. Make sure that you take a look at the information on the Year 6 page and find out some weird facts about Miss Gavaghan and Miss Corey.
Mrs Margarson and I would like to say that we have really enjoyed teaching you for the short time we were together and that we both wish you all the best in the next class. It would be lovely to hear from you by email before you go even if you just say bye. We will see you in the autumn when school opens again even if we have to wave from a distance.
Love from Mrs Watkins
This week we continue to learn about space but focus more on astronauts and travelling in space. You can write an information leaflet, a news report, a poster, an advert and a diary.
This week's maths covers 2D and 3D shapes and moving and changing shapes. Some of it might be new but it isn't difficult. Watch the videos as many times as you need to and then have a go at the worksheets.
For history this week, do some research on ancient Greek vases. What colours did they use? What patterns did they like? Were there any pictures?
Then, download the sheet below and design your own ancient Greek vase. Will it just have patterns or will you add pictures? Your vase could be to commemorate something important that has happened to you during lockdown?
If you can't print the sheet, just have a look and then copy the shape onto a piece of paper.
