Hello Year 2 families!
For the last two weeks, you have had a topic all about birds and I have received some lovely work from you! Remember, when you send me your work I will always send you some feedback. I’m also always on the lookout for names to give to Mrs Sherry for her Headteacher Awards, which she has continued to do every week. In these unusual times, home-school contact is vital for everyone’s wellbeing and a good reminder that we are still a school family, even if we can’t all be together right now. You can email any work the children have completed to firstname.lastname@example.org and I will always reply with a note for the children. I can also be contacted on the school phone number 01772-335033. We really do love to hear how you’re all getting on and miss you very much. It’s wonderful to hear the children’s voices when I phone you!
A new theme will be starting with this week’s home learning projects – The Sea. I had planned a coastlines unit which would have included a trip to the Ribble Discover Centre at Fairhaven. I will keep this theme for the next two or three weeks.
Thank you for your continued support.
Take care, stay safe.
Love and prayers,
