We find out more about the Titanic this week and practise some non-fiction writing. There's a newspaper report, a debate, a fact file to create and a non-chronological report, as well as a rather nifty little poem.
We continue with fractions this week, looking at multiplying fractions and using fractions as operators. Both of these sound difficult but they are REALLY easy. You are not using any new skills and the numbers you are working with are very small. Take your time and use the videos and grids to support your thinking if needed, and you will romp through the sheets.
Here is a link to some great PE challenges. Each week they have covered a different sport (including climbing!) and set a challenge. Some of you may have tried some already. Miss Chapman is very interested to find out how everyone is doing so she has asked that you take a photo of yourself doing one of the challenges. If you send it to me using email, I will pass it on to her.
This week our theme is water. It fits with the English topic on Titanic and also we've had a bit of rain lately. There are lots of stories and ideas in the Bible that involve water. See how many different stories you can think of.
Mrs McKenna has found some fabulous science activities to do at home. They are so good that I can't wait to try them out in school. Here are two for you to try this week. Enjoy!
