We made poppies for Remembrance Day

Andrew talks about the Bible

In Year 5, we have been studying the Bible in our R.E. lessons. We asked Andrew to come in to class to tell us what the Bible means to him. He answered all our questions honestly. He told us that that his friendship with Jesus is the most important thing in his life but his Bible is his most important possession. We learned a lot about how vital the Bible is to Christians.

Outdoor and Adventurous PE

On Monday 10th September, we started lessons with Jake. The activities will teach us how to work as a team and how to solve problems. Today we had great fun with a water game.

Summer Holiday Homework

In the summer holidays, we found out about different stately homes.

For each place, we found out about

    • its size and shape,
    • its age and history,
    • the different rooms,
    • the gardens and grounds,
    • the materials used to build it,
    • how it is decorated and furnished,
    • if the house is still lived in today, and
    • if parts of it are ruined (or look like ruins).
