At Cuerden Church School, our curriculum plays an integral part of our vision. We have high aspirations and expectations for all our children. We aim to inspire a love of learning through exciting, challenging activities that enable everyone to flourish.  Varied experiences within the local community and wider world form the firm foundations for learning – giving pupils opportunities to share, talk, enjoy and grow in confidence, whilst also developing respect for others and God’s creation. Our curriculum provides children with opportunities to develop effective communication and language skills where the development of new vocabulary takes priority. In support of this, our curriculum ensures that children are given time and opportunity to commit learning to long-term memory by revisiting and deepening learning. Our curriculum enhances the core Christian values we share, ensuring all our children leave Cuerden Church School as confident, resilient and happy individuals aiming to be the best that they can be.
