Year 6 Parents' Worship
Wed 07 Nov 2018Well done to everyone in Year 6 for your thought-provoking worship on Remembrance and the centenary of the end of World War One. Your singing was beautiful and the art work on display was of a very high standard. It was lovely to see so many parents, carers and family members there to support you. -
Cuerden Cafe
Thu 01 Nov 2018A big thank you to the PTA for organising tonight's Bonfire themed Cuerden Cafe. It was lovely to see families there enjoying the delicious hot dogs and toffee apples! Toffee apples and parkin will be on sale tomorrow after school. All proceeds from this go to the PTA fund which is used to support many aspects of learning within school. -
Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits!

Tower Wood
Mon 02 Jul 2018Year 6 enjoyed glorious weather in the Lake District during their residential visit to Tower Wood on Lake Windermere.
The children took part in a variety of outdoor adventures such as canoeing, fell walking and ghyll scrambling!

Sports day

Royal Wedding street party!
Thu 17 May 2018Thank you to kitchen staff and welfare staff who worked hard to make the children a special 'Royal Wedding' lunch today. The weather was lovely and we were able to have a street party on the playground. The children wore their royal crowns and we even danced at a disco run by Jordan and Dominic! -
Careers week
Fri 09 Mar 2018On Monday 5th March, the school held a 'Careers' Week' in order to learn more about the world of work. We were delighted to have visitors to school to talk about the different jobs they do, for example fire officers and paramedics. Years 2 and 4 also visited local places of work and interviewed adults at work in Bamber Bridge. The Secret Millionaires' Club liaised with our local B&Q to buy bedding plants which were distributed amongst all the children to give to someone special on Mothers' Day. -
Aladdin Panto
Tue 23 Jan 2018It was an exciting afternoon when the pantomime came to school! During the performance of Aladdin by M& M productions, the cast of four transformed the hall into a theatre and we were whisked away into a land of magic carpets, genies and treasure caves. The children said they loved the costumes, music and funny jokes but most of all, Mrs Barker's amazing dancing! -
Pudsey comes to school!
Tue 14 Nov 2017BBC Radio Lancashire and Pudsey Bear visited school today and we were delighted to present him with a cheque for £163.30. The School Council had elected to donate proceeds from the sale of a school newspaper to Children in Need along with donation made by families and friends on the 'Wear something special for Pudsey' day -
PNE visit Cuerden!
Wed 08 Nov 2017We were very excited this week by a surprise visit from two Preston North End Players, Calum Woods and Tom Barkhuisen who spoke to the whole school about what it takes to be a professional footballer. The children had lots of interesting questions and our Sports Councillors had special photos taken with our V.I.P.s.
