Leading Lights is a weekly worship club which is open to all KS2 children. The children’s vision for the group is:

In Leading Lights, we try to shine while leading our school into the light of God through worship and living our Christian values. We encourage faith in our loving, powerful God through prayer.

‘Lord, let Your light and Your truth lead me.’ Psalm 43:3

The children lead and contribute to worship, create displays, take the lead in many school decisions concerning worship and they also contribute to evaluation. In a regular prayer time, the children learn to pray spontaneously with and for each other, the school family and the wider community. Children from Leading Lights attend the annual Pupil Worship Conference and then feedback to the group, staff and the school as appropriate.
