Meet our Eco-Council!
23rd November 2016
During today's meetings, we were discussing ways of reducing the number of Christmas cards people bring to school. We worked out that if there are 30 children in a class and each child brings a card for everyone in the class plus their teacher, we are writing 900 cards in just one class!
We took several ideas back to our classes and decided that if each child brought just one blank card, everyone could receive a card from their whole class, which would mean drastically reducing the number of cards we write.
Remember, Christmas cards can also be recycled at most supermarkets after the Christmas break.
