About the Teachers
Class Teacher
My name is Miss Croft (the children will know me at the moment as Mrs Taylor) and I'm really excited to get to know all of you!
Teaching:
I knew that I wanted to be a teacher from being 9 years old. It's all that I've ever wanted to do! I qualified after 4 years of teacher training in 2002. I have been a teacher for 18 years and have taught mainly in EYFS and Key Stage One at Cuerden Church School but have experience of all other year groups from my time at other schools. I enjoy teaching all subjects but I particularly love reading, PE and anything arty. If I can get dressing up and food in to any learning, I will!
About Me:
I have two children. A boy, 10 and a girl, 9. They keep me busy when I'm not at work.
Favourite Things:
Food: Italian especially pasta
Drink: lime and lemonade
Book to read to a class: George's Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl
Hobbies: drawing and painting, baking (although I'm not very good at it), watching the football (Man Utd in particular), travelling.
