Platform for Arts Event
Thu 19 Oct 2017We were thrilled to be chosen to take part in a local community event by providing artwork for display at Bamber Bridge Railway station. Mrs Barker worked with junior pupils to paint a 'Lowry style' picture that depicts the changing face of Bamber Bridge. On the opposite platform, a second piece of art created by the children and textile artist, Julia Allison, celebrates the Christian values of Cuerden Church School.

The response was overwhelming and everyone was delighted to welcome Major Maggie from the Salvation Army to school to collect the gifts.
The Lancashire Evening Post were also very interested to hear about the children's efforts and wrote a special article about how the children and families at Cuerden Church School were helping others at this special time of year.
